We recommend Parents and Educators alike start planning their trip to the Museum with both the Museum Rules and a scripted tour for self-guidance.

Teacher Packets

Below you will find completed course information for 4th and 8th grade classes including games, trivia, vocabulary, worksheets (with answer sheets) and an art portion.  Activities can supplement a field trip to the Museum as well as be an excellent classroom resource.

Curriculum Standards

We at the International Museum of the Horse recognize it is important to educators to meet curriculum standards as presented by the Kentucky Department of Education. Below we have listed out all the State and National requirements we can fulfill in one class trip to our facilities.
